Group - Micromanipulation subgroup -  Rabbit cloning

The rabbit is more appropriate model of some human disease than mouse. Our goal to collaborate with Genetic Modification Program Group of Zsuzsanna Bősze to produce a Human VIII factor and APh transgenic rabbit by using cloning and ES chimerical technology.

Our group examines the reprogramming capacity of nucleus of cumulus and different type of fibroblast cells. We analyze the in vitro development of cloned embryos and transfer from the most promising cell line ones.

This group is a  Sigma-Aldrich  reference laboratory from 2005.
